During one of my visitos to the beloved RX-Partners blog, I saw that they write a lot about getting links from authority sites. Getting links from authority sites with high PR’s such as trying to get your link on certain pages of big companies’ sites, Wikipedia and of course .edu-websites is of course a good way to get some authority in Google’s eyes. However, getting some of that shiny authority can be very easy and safe. Try to link from your site to some authority sites such as of course Wikipedia, .edu-sites and other authority sites that rank high for the keywords you want to get a high ranking for.
If you for example have a page about the well-known blue pill, place a link to Viagra.com and perhaps one to the Viagra-page on Drugs.com. When search engines see that you’re linking to these high authority sites, they’ll definitely start to take your site serious and perhaps give you a better ranking.
